YREACH

YREACH, a new and expanded YMCA Program, provides information, orientation and settlement support to Immigrants and Temporary Foreign Workers and their families who are new to communities across the province of Nova Scotia.

To better serve our community here at the Fundy Y, if you are an immigrant to the Clare/Digby/Annapolis area, please take a minute to complete our Newcomers’ Needs Assessment survey. Even if you moved a while ago and are now a citizen, your experience can help others that have recently moved.

IF YOU ARE A NEWCOMER AND YOU NEED ASSISTANCE WITH:

• Getting to know your community or you want to take part in social and/or recreational activities
• You have children in school and would like support for them at school
• You need help in accessing services
• You need in-person language instruction to improve your English
• You need help in filing out government forms like your tax return, Canadian Immigration application, Canada Child Benefit
